Portland Consulting, LLC is a woman-veteran owned company, providing solutions for problem solving and project management services that assist clients in identifying difficulties, uncertainties, and perplexities in operational processes.
Core Capabilities
Process Management
Review internal procedures and practices for operational outputs, infrastructures, systems and human operations. Our staff will evaluate business functions, functional processes and identify process workflows from “as-is” and design future to-be analysis for knowledge management.
Business Analysis
Bridge gaps between business and IT operations, management to employees, or customer to supply chain and suppliers. We will document customer needs or system requirements, define charters, scopes, and provide support for project management initiatives. Our implementation plan would include assessments, strategy analysis, action plans and provide solutions for the customer.
Strategic Sourcing and Contract Management
Evaluate commodities, current spends and procurement activities, and develop strategic sourcing methods. Provide reports and solutions for levels of category criteria such as expense, capital, production, non-production materials, and services summarizing levels for each group.
Performance Improvement
Identify and measure potential downfalls in quality. Provide solutions and track problem areas for corrective action. We will provide a variety of solutions for performance measurement initiatives. Systematically test, monitor, and improve processes with any performance (operational or team-oriented) against process measures.
Training
Provide training programs and materials that are customized to companies’ best practices of day to day operations or team building exercise such as the DISC® profile for team development.
